My Cheesy Christmas

HELLO! I'm back! Nowadays, my life is very busy and a lot things to do, so I don't really have time to write or travelling. But, now I'm back and ready to take you to my 2017's Christmas Story.

This year's Christmas I spent my day with a very cheesy way. Since I live alone in Korea, what I have here, of course, my best friends only, it was my 5th Christmas without a family on my side. Korea currently very cold with temperature average around -11º- 2ºCelsius. It's like slapping-with-ice on my face anytime you take a walk out the door, which I gave up about. Too cold for me. Because outdoor Christmas is too much for me, I decided to spend my time in a Cheese Cake Cafe at Garosugil area called C27 Cheese Cake & Coffee Wine.

The C27 Cafe quite new in Garosugil, the cafe its self-has 3rd floor with very unique decoration on every floor because that day was Christmas so all decorated by Christmas festive feel.
There are a lot of people there and to get a place to sit we need to thoroughly look from the first floor to 3rd floor. Lucky me, we got the best spot near a window on the second floor.

After that, time to pick our Cheese Cake! I was very excited to saw Cheese Cakes with a lot variation of taste. They have really good interior and explanation on every cake there so we can guess the taste as we want to eat. Then after wandering around about 5 minutes, we decided to order Blueberry Cheese Cake / 블루베리 치즈케이크 and Oreo Cheese Cake / 오레오 치즈케이크.

Back to our table and ready to try the infamous Cheese Cake in the town, I scooped my spoon at Oreo Cheese Cake / 오레오 치즈케이크 first, and I loved it. The Oreo's crumbs match well with chocolate on the top of the cheesecake blend together with Cheese in the middle of the cake. Amazing! It was perfect for my dessert lover's tongue. Not too sweet but very delicious!
Price: 8,800₩

The second one was The Blueberry Cheese Cake / 블루베리 치즈케이크. I was full of expectation because I really like the first one when tasting the Blueberry one, and the taste was amazingly more than my expectation. The Blueberry blend with the cheese made this Cheese Cake become the one of the best Cheese Cake I have ever eaten before. The texture of the Blueberry layer and the cheese layer was very blended well then the pie on the bottom of the cake made the texture very delicious once you bite the cake. It was perfect and great!
Price: 8,800₩

The C27 Cafe is a great cafe with good interior and good cheesecake, I am definitely going to come back here again and again with a mission to taste every Cheese Cake in here. The price quite high, but worth with the taste.

We had been very busy with our own lives, with work and school, but it was Christmas, we supposed to be spending that with a close friend and family. Isn't it?

So, this how I spent my Christmas. How's about you?

Stressed spelled backwards is DESSERTS

One day, just feeling suffocated with my works and all my daily activities, I just decided to go to some a good place with the silent atmosphere while enjoying good dessert and coffee. And so I went to Hapjeong Area to visit Saint Ives Cafe.

From the outside, Saint Ives cafe has looked simple yet glamor, surround with clean glass. If you get inside all white furniture with very simple interior design makes everything look clean and comfortable. The counter area, it was decorated very minimalist and simple, but look very elegant. You can see everything what is going on behind the counter. I personally really fall in love with every decorated in every corner this cafe, it's simple yet refined.

They have great designs for their cup too!

Tempted by the delicious smell of coffee I ordered Iced Caramel Macchiato and New York Cheese Cake. My friends ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte (Price: 6,000₩) and Cream Beige Milk Tea Episode #1 (Price: 6,800₩).

Let's talk about the Caramel Macchiato! I love coffee and I have 2 kinds of favorite coffee, which are Caramel Macchiato and Cafe Mocha. But this time, with my exhausted-mood, I ordered the Caramel Macchiato with Iced of course. The Caramel Macchiato was perfect, the soft taste of the milk blend well with the smell-good coffee. And the fresh feel from the Iced was helped me to back to my good mood.
Price: 6,000₩

And the New York Cheese Cake! I don't want to show me over reacting about this Cheese Cake but honestly, this was one of the best Cheese Cake I ever had! The softness of the cheesecake mesmerized me, the texture was not soggy at all, feel like full with cheese, but not easy to make you feel too much. It was perfect, not too sweet yet very cheesy!
Price: 6,500₩

I'm sure we all ever heard about "Stressed spelled backwards is DESSERTS," so in the middle of my exhausted from every hard time in my life, I decided to spend that with Dessert and close friends. Sometimes not to talk about the problems we have and just laugh with the closest person is always the best medicine for the exhausting day. I wish you all have a good day. And eat dessert when you stressed or exhausted, it will help even just a little. Cheers!
